Since 2007, CFAC has worked to connect Missoula chefs and restaurateurs with local farmers and ranchers to bring fresh, seasonal, Montana-grown ingredients to diners' plates through the Buy Fresh Buy Local (BFBL) Farm to Restaurant Collaborative. The aim of BFBL was to reconnect eaters to the system that grows our food--the seed, the land, the farmer or rancher, and the routes that deliver it to us.
The Buy Fresh Buy Local collaborative hosted several events that helped producers and chefs connect and form fruitful (and vegetable-full) business relationships.
