CFAC is proud to have hosted three inspiring entrepreneurs at this year’s Farm Fresh Pitchfest. Although we weren’t able to host Pitchfest as a live event due to the COVID19 pandemic, we had a successful online event and our “pitchmakers” were all successfully funded!
This program is a partnership with Kiva, an online crowdsourced microfinance platform that allows borrows access to a loan up to 10,000 with no fees and 0% interest rate. Learn more about past Pitchfest events here and sign up to be a member of our lending team at Kiva here.
We lend because we envision a future for Montana where farmlands are conserved, farming remains a viable livelihood, and all Montanans can equally access nutritious, affordable, and locally grown food. Kiva loans act as support for small-scale beginning farmers, ranchers, and entrepreneurs where access to upfront capital is otherwise limited.
The lending team provides an opportunity for everyone who cares about western Montana’s food system to invest in their values. From the field to the plate, from soil to suit, anyone who wants to invest in Montana’s food economy can be on our team.
While our contestants were all fully funded this year, you can still check out their stories as they pitch their business ideas below.
